Seguramente no será una de las series más populares de la historia de la televisión, para empezar porque es británica en una época en la que nos va casi exclusivamente lo yanqui y porque es una miniserie, pero merece la pena echarle un vistazo a esta producción, Black Mirror, que nos invita a reflexionar sobre la quizá excesiva presencia de la tecnología en nuestra vida cotidiana.
Black Mirror llega a nuestras pantallas a través del canal TNT hoy lunes 30 de abril a las 22.15 horas, y nos presentará 3 historias en las que vemos que quizá hemos ido demasiado lejos al integrar la tecnología en nuestras vidas. Historias que se pudieron ver por primera vez en el Channel 4 británico y que han despertado admiración y controversia por igual, y ahora tendremos la oportundidad legal de juzgarla por nosotros mismos.
Charlie Brooker, el creador de Black Mirror, se defiende de las acusaciones de demonización de la tecnología afirmando que su serie solo pretende divertir con mordacidad a través de hipótesis, sin entrar en tecnicismos ni atacar realmente a ningún producto ni a ninguna compañía.
Los 3 episodios giran alrededor de sorprendentes premisas, como la del primer caso, que se pregunta la influencia que tienen los medios, la sociedad y los dirigentes en la toma de decisiones en momentos críticos. En el segundo capítulo se nos muestra cómo nuestra vida se ha convertido prácticamente en una mezcla de reality show y videojuego, y en el tercer caso se nos cuenta qué pasaría si realmente pudiéramos recordar con el máximo detalle todo lo que hemos vivido, como si fuéramos un disco duro viviente.
