Sabéis que August W. Booth es un extraño personaje que llegó a Storybrooke sin explicación y sin que se sepa demasiado sobre él. Pero parece que nuestra curiosidad será saciada en el episodio ' The Stranger' (1x20) ya que se nos dará pistas sobre su identidad. El episodio fue escrito por Ian Goldberg y Andrew Chambliss y dirigido por Gwyneth Horder-Payton. 

August intenta instruir a Emma para que ella pueda derrotar a Regina y posiblemente consiga la custodia de Henry. Con la maldición de la reina Malvada a las puertas, Geppetto acuerda ayudar con el plan para salvar a la hija de Blancanieves y el príncipe, con la condición de que su hijo también sea salvado.
