Lauren Socha, la choni Kelly de la aclamada Misfits, ha sido la última actriz del reparto en anunciar sus intenciones de no continuar en el bombazo británico en su cuarta temporada, prevista para estrenarse a finales de este año y, al parecer, con muchas caras nuevas porque con Socha ya sontres los actores de la tercera temporada que no repetirán.

Primero se fue Robert Sheehan, el inolvidable Nathan al que han intentado sustituir con Rudy, de carácter muy parecido, en la tercera tanda de episodios. Y para la cuarta se anunció, ya en diciembre de 2011, la marcha de la pareja formada por Alisha (Antonia Thomas) y Simon (Iwan Rheon).

Ahora es la carismática Kelly la que deja la serie, según nos cuentan en Fórmula TV, sin especificar motivos, puesto que los comunicados oficiales hablan de “acuerdo” entre la cadena británica Channel 4 y los tres actores que no seguirán en la cuarta temporada, incluida Socha. Aunque la cadena asegura que forma parte del mismo acuerdo que firmó hace tiempo con Thomas y Rheon para finalizar su contrato de mutuo acuerdo, en el caso de la tercera hay un hecho que puede tener mucha relación con su marcha, y es que el pasado 2 de mayo fue sentenciada a cuatro meses de cárcel y 12 de inhabilitación, además de 80 horas de servicios comunitarios, tras admitir un agresión con agravante por racismo sobre un taxista asiático, al que según las declaraciones de la víctima le invitó poco amablemente a volver a su país y le espetó el típico “¿Tú sabes quién soy yo?”. La realidad supera una vez más la ficción.
